Hey Darrick here,

Like I promised this post will be over each Hunter Leveling Spec, and why I think some specs are better then others.

Survival Leveling Spec

I am going to be very honest what I think of any Survival Hunter leveling builds. They suck!. Now once you get to the middle of the talent tree they start getting good, but you want a Hunter leveling spec that will help you from start to finish, and Survival Builds are not going to be your best option. They are however very good with Dungeon queuing since you can help the party with all your CC, and if you plan on doing a little Pvp while you level Survival might be a good option for a second spec. If not I don’t suggest putting any points into it tell you hit 85 and want to change talents up.

Marksmen Leveling Spec

Back in the day a Marksmen build wasn’t a good ideal to level with, but nowadays Blizzard really made it a logical choice. One of the best things is your criticals, and you do get a lot of those. Out of all the Hunter leveling builds a good Marksmen one can do a ton of damage. Plus even very early on you get a couple talents that will help your pet out. Like Go For The Throat and Sic’em. The only problem with this kind of Hunter leveling spec is your pet really has a hard time keeping aggro. Which can really be a problem since everyone knows Hunters look tough, but as soon as someone gets in Melee range we run like a thief just stole are purse.

Beast Mastery leveling Spec

This should be everyone’s first choice when making a Hunter Leveling Build. Let’s start with your pet or should I say your unstoppable killing machine. When you level as Beast Mastery right off the bat your going to have tons of talents to pump them up. The only hard part about this leveling spec is choosing the right talents for your tree. I find myself actually going so fast that my pet already has them halfway dead when I go to shoot, and in my mind how can you possibly get better then that.

Well that is just a overview of each Hunter Leveling Spec, of course I will go over each one in more detail in the next few post.

Hey Darrick here,

Before we started going to deep into the Best Hunter Leveling Specs, I thought it would be cool if I went over WoW Hunter Pets, and the best Hunter leveling pets for patch 4.3. World of Warcraft Hunter pets are a huge part of your character. Many times it seems like they are even a separate character. Especially if your a BM Hunter leveling spec. This will be a quick guide on the Best hunter leveling pets in patch 4.3.

Wow Hunter Pet Leveling Specs 4.3

Many people may choose there Hunter Leveling pet off of looks, but as many people already know this will come back to bite you. I know it can be hard to choose which Hunter Pets, but you should really choose pets that will play to your strengths. Remember that you can have lots of pets and can play with different ones at different times. There are many different Hunter pet leveling specs you can chose some for PvP and others for Raiding, Dungeons, and Leveling. Below is overview of the three Hunter Pet trees.

Ferocity – Ferocity is great for Dungeons. Since they are almost all damage based . In fact the only thing you will need to worry about is pulling aggro from the Tank with this Hunter Pet leveling spec. These pets include cats and other damage dealers, and they can help you bring down your target faster.

Tenacity: All the pets from Tenacity will be the opposite from Ferocity pets. They can hold aggro really well, but for the most part really lack damage. These pets include bears and turtles, and they are excellent for keeping enemies away from you, so they’re great for leveling and questing on your own.

Cunning – Kind of a mix between the other two. Cunning is not the best at anything, but it can take damage and put it out pretty well, Really great for Pvp since you need a little bit of both to survive.

Everybody like playing different classes, so it’s no surprise that people always fight over what the best hunter leveling spec is every time a new patch comes out. I myself like to play BM, but in the Wotlk I play marksman 90% of the time. It just depends on your playstyle and of course what you have the most fun with as a hunter.

These are just a few hunter leveling tips no matter what tree you decide to play.

• I personally never use Tenacity pets no matter what spec I’m playing. The other two have way better dps and almost never have a trouble tanking multiple mobs.

• Make sure your using you traps consistently. Not only do they offer a lot of dps and crow control, but you will get used to it, so later on when you need to use them in parties your it won’t be a foreign thing to you.

• Get some addons right off the bat. The hunter has way to many spells to keep track of later on.

• If your worried that you need to do a lot of dungeons to get great gear, don’t be. When Cataclysm was launched they changed quest so they offer some really great loots.
